• Start Minesweeper
• Type xyzzy
• Hold down one of the shift keys for one second

[edit] Effect

When the mouse is over a square which holds a mine, the top left pixel of the screen turns black. When the square doesn't hold a mine, that pixel turns white.

[edit] Notes

This easter egg function changes only the color of the background. When that pixel is covered by an application, you won't see anything.
